The Kelowna Breast Cancer Paddling Team

The team attends 4 to 6 dragon boat festivals in canada each year promoting dragon boating as exercise for breast cancer survivors and to provide support and friendship to survivers. The members demonstrate that survivors can lead full active and health lifestyle after a diagnosis of breast cancer. The soicety hosts public information events where they provide brochures regarding cancer prevention and treatment. Members volunteer at the cancer and the community at large supporting various cancer related events such as run for the cure.
