The Katie Macdonald Foundation for a Better World

The Foundation in collaboration with Montcrest School is in the process of developing Katie's Corner a curated collection of books focused on sharing stories and/or personal experiences that enlighten children of all ages about the diversity that exists in this world the subsequent equity challenges faced and the need to create a more inclusive world where everybody feels they belong. We believe that educating children who represent our future with engaging books featuring diversity equity and inclusiveness will help contribute to a more compassionate world. We chose to defer gifts to subsequent years because the programming wasn't at a stage to scale it to other schools by the end of Fiscal Year 2024.
