The Huron County Historical Society

Published annual edition of huron historical notes featuring 100th anniversary of the clinton rcaf station. Video-conferenced four public and member meetings with presentations of topics of historical interest. Planned plaques to commemorate historical notables and events. Responded to queries from members and public about pioneer families events and places. Joined the huron heritage roundtable coordinating heritage issues and events across huron county. Supported and promoted a play titles 'the streamliners' about a locally based rcaf band touring troops during ww2. Supported a book play titled ' the farmorettes' - young urban females volunteering for harvesting work in agricultural areas in ww2. Conducted a guided bus tour to waterloo county and historie mennonite settlements.
