The Hunger Project

Ongoing programs: the hunger project canada and in partnership with the global hunger project will carry out programs of the following regions: ending hunger in rural communities in africa india bangladesh mexico and peru through the empowerment of women and girls. In particular the global hunger project will aim t o carry out programs related to the: 1) empowerment of women and girls 2) sustainable agriculture and food security 3) advancement of community-led development the hunger project canada will provide part of the annual funds needed for these programs. These programs will be carried out in accordance with the principles and methodology of the global hunger project where the local population is mobilized at the grassroots level to work together to eradicate hunger and poverty. The goal is to motivate and encourage people at the grassroots level to plan and take decisive actions to end their own hunger and take leadership in their own development work.
