Equine experiential learning programs: 1) the school year program partners with schools to provide vulnerable and/or under-served youth in grades 5-8 with instruction in horsemanship skills facilitating the development of social emotional life skills that increase engagement in school and their communities. 2) our summer program partners with community organizations to provide similar programming in summer unmounted format to serve larger groups of under served youth. 3) our alumni program provides continued learning in high school years independent of school for further development of life-skills volunteer & future work skills peer networking and becoming ambassadors of urban stable. 4) in our adult and youth volunteer horse-handler training programs the youth volunteers are past program participants that volunteer while in high school as leaders in training and volunteer hours going towards a school credit. 5) unmounted experiential learning programs for vulnerable and/or under-served youth for shorter duration that school program. Approximately 3000 hours annually continue to be donated by 30 volunteers in our programs fundraising activities and administrative tasks. Alumni program relaunched after being on pause from covid in spring 2024 in a reduced capacity. Summer program we are optimistice will relaunch summer 2024
