About The Griffiths Family Foundation
1. To receive and maintain a fund or funds and to apply all or part of the principal and income therefrom from time to time to qualified donees or charitable organizations; and 2. (a) to advance education by providing leadership training programs to individuals wanting to grow in the christian faith. (b) to advance religion by conducting weekly bible studies to individuals wanting to grow in the christian faith. (c) to advance education by providing publicly available scholarships to currently attending or newly admitted to a post-secondary educational institution. (d) to address and prevent problems faced by youth who are in need by providing programs such as financial literacy afterschool homework clubs mental wellness seminars and nutrition clinics. (e) to relieve poverty by providing transitional residential accommodation at below market rate support and incidental facilities to individuals who are enrolled in a christian faith-based program that supports individuals who are recovering from addictions or who are victims of family violence or abandonment. (f) to relieve poverty by providing basic necessities of life including food clean water clothing and/or shelter to individuals or families who are experiencing poverty of low income or in need. (g) to undertake activities that are ancillary y and incidental to the above.
