Maintains the coquitlam centennial and canadian hybridized rose gardens liaising with the city of coquitlam parks dept. Provide education opportunities to grow hybridize & propagate roses develop floral art skills monthly meetings worshops and annual rose show. Provide free workshops to the public on different aspects of growing and caring for roes. Instituted a high school student volunteer program. We mentored interested students on the various aspects of care for the roses in the coquitlam centennial and canadian hybridized rose gardens. The students contributed 130.5 hours in the care of the roses this past year.
