The Firehall Theatre Society

The firehall theatre society produces presents and promotes theatre dance inter-disciplinary music and visual arts exhibitions performances and events. The charity's work is a reflection of the cultural pluralism of canada and includse workshops classes and artistic residencies along with exhibitions and performances. On average the firehall theatre society holds 300 performances/public events each year. Tickets are made equitable being either free or at a highly reduced rate for social service groups and low income residents of the downtown eastside. The society maintains the 118 year old building in which it resides.
