Promote fire and burn prevention initiative in elementary school initiated a program to construct deliver and provide mainenance of fire safety trailers throughout manitoba. Plan sponsor and conduct an annual children's burn camp. Plan sponsor and conduct an annual adult burn survivor conference and provide support for burn survivors and their families. Provide funding for the creation of an endowment for a research position of chair in burns and trauma. Provide funding for ongoing burn research. Provide funding for staff education through attendance at burn conference. Provide for the purchase of specialized equipment for burn units and burn survivors. Provide support for mamingwey burn survivors and fire fighters. During the year mamingway has registered itself and runnin its operation as a separate entity from the the firefighters' burn fund inc.
