(a) undertaken research in the mathematical sciences and their applications: (b) promoting the mathematical sciences and knowledge and practice thereof: (c) holding conferences meetings and exhibitions to encourage collaboration in the exchange of views on mathematical research; (d) providing advanced training for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers: (e) communicating and disseminating the results of mathematical science research; (f) serving as a liaison between university based researchers and the business community; (g) serving as a resource for mathematics education at all levels; (h) establishing and maintaining suitable quarters and facilities for the corporation to further its objects (i) creating mathematical models to understand the dynamics of infectious diseases and the implications for public health; and such other complementary purposes not inconsistent with these objectives.
