The Ewashko Singers

1. Encourage cultural activities and promote appreciation of the arts through concert performances; 2. Promote the business of the arts by hiring local artists and performing in local venues. This includes establishing and maintaining the required processes and procedures to adminster the charitable status and reporting to industry canada; 3. Provide educational opportunities to music students and interested adults and collaborate with other musicians and musical organizations to perform concerts or create recordings. Ewashko singers have about 20 volunteers and 4 sub contractors who ensure the organization is well managed promoted and meets their service commitments and delivers high quality performances. These include an engaged board of directors music librarian program advertising and liaison with rehearsal venues and the national arts centre and exceptional musical direction. During the 2023-24 season ewashko singers singers continued to support canadian composers and soloists.
