The Essex Region Conservation Foundation

The foundation works towards the achievement of an environmentally sustainable windsor-essex-pelee region through natural resource conservation restoration and protection of natural assets and development of public amenities which support conservation. The foundation achieves its mission through educating area residents and stakeholders with respect to the importance of natural areas protection and restoration trail develpment local biodiversity and cultural heritage. The foundation granted in excess of $515 081 to the essex region conservation authority to carry out programs and activities consistent with the foundation's objects including significant support for the jrph museum rehabilitation school and public education programming tree planting and natural areas restoration.
