About The Endometriosis Network Canada
The Endometriosis Network Canada is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals living with endometriosis across Canada. As a registered charity in Canada founded in 2012 our measurable impact includes providing support and education to thousands of Canadians developing dedicated programs for underserved communities raising awareness and impacting policy across Canada. We do this through: facilitating twice-per-month Canada*wide virtual endometriosis support groups enhancing education about the disease through a resource-rich website online support through private Facebook support groups in-person and online educational events community engagement on social media annual fundraising event The Endo Network's Run to End Endo? which aims to raise awareness while bringing the endo community together. we launched our Endo ambassador program which was developed in response to the immediate need for action on the issues and challenges faced by those with endometriosis in communities that have been disinvested as well as historically and intentionally excluded across Canada. New programs: Health Canada funded project. In an effort to improve endometriosis awareness and understanding and subsequently improving the lifeexperience of those affected The Endometriosis Network Canada received funding from Health Canada’s Sexual and Reproductive Health fund to implement 'Decreasing the delay to diagnosis: endometriosis awareness and education project'. This project aimed to create and disseminate educational resources for youth and those living or supporting someone with endometriosis including a curriculum enrichment program- 'What you need to know. Period' as well as raising pan-Canadian awareness of the disease through a digital marketing awareness campaign-'KnowEndo. The project began in April 2023 and is scheduled to conclude in March 2025.
