The Deep River and District Community Foundation

The objects of the Corporation shall be carried out primarily but not exclusively within The Town of Deep River and the surrounding area including but not limited to the Town of Laurentian Hills and the Townships of Head Clara and Maria and shall be to improve the quality of life for every resident of Deep River and District so defined above specifically to support social services to advance the welfare of the needy and the alleviation of human suffering and poverty; to support and advance the provision of health care through the funding of medical research special medical facilities sports recreation and the promotion of healthy lifestyles; to assist and promote the arts including but not limited to music drama literature film and video painting and sculpture; to advance education through the establishment of scholarship funds and the funding of specific educational endeavours; to support and advance the protection of the environment; to support and fund community activities and facilities including but not limited to arenas daycares libraries parks and gardens playgrounds and cemeteries.
