As per note 1 of the audited financial statements: an amalgamated agreement was approved between clinton public hospital seaforth community hospital st. Mary's memorial hospital and stratford general hospital to amalgamate to form one corporation. Upon the terms of the not-for-profit corporations act 2010 (ontario) the amalgamated entity will continue under the name huron perth healthcare alliance. The certificate of amalgamation was approved by the ministry of ontario with an effective date of amalgamation as of april 1 2024. Effective april 1 2024 the assets liabilities and obligation of the hospitals will be transferred into the new entity. The bn/registration number of the amalgamated organization will be 108040312rr0001.
