Airdrie is alberta's fastest growing city and has one of he highest growth rates in canada. The library is the cornerstone of our healthy community fostering connections nurturing human growth and development and playing a significant role in the community's economic and social development. Our programs support education and self-directed learning and literacy create opportunities for people to meet develop friendships and learn about one another's cultures and provide opportunities for people to try new technology before its commonplace. We loan more than just books: musical intrusments board games video games tools and more. We serve unhoused people mentally ill people neurodivergent people newcomers language learners marginalized people and all people of all ages. We have something for everyone al the various stages of their lives and the library belongs to all of hem. Airdrie public library continues to respond to community needs by partnering with local agencies to ensure our programs reflect the interest and priorities of the people we serve. Our rapid growing community means we are constantly evolving and expanding our program offerings. This year new additions include crochet it up family steam kids in motion junior makers steam engines teen hangout 3d printer training our attention to adult programming remains strong. In addition to supporting our 13 long running club andevents such as voice and vision. Poetry in motion and our monthly art-exhibits and workshops. All which highlight local poets and artists we've developed a series around courageous conversations. This series addresses difficult realities facing us today such death and dying amnestry international issues effective bu-stander practices and celebrating women's rights through a pink tra to name a few. All our programs rely on partnershops with local interests and well-informed speakers and facilitators as needed to ensure accurate information and best practices and a
