The Citadel Theatre

The Citadel Theatre is recognized as a leader in Canadian theatre. We produce work of the highest quality premiere new plays develop the skills of professional artists invest in youth and families and contribute to the quality of life in the Edmonton community. The Citadel Theatre offers nine or more plays annually in our beautiful facility with five performance spaces. The Citadel carries out a number of creative development programs: Play development the Foote Theatre School Citadel Young Companies and audience outreach programs. Our House series opens our doors to the community with concerts cabarets and comedy in a casual up-close-and-personal setting; the series features performances by incredible local national and international artists.
