The Career Foundation

The organization provides employment services across Ontario to people who are in need and facing barriers to employment. On going services include career exploration employment counselling job search training and job placements for at risk youth women from vulnerable circumstances newcomers and refugees persons living with physical and mental disabilities people who are long term employed and depends on Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Services Program in order to cover their basic needs. The organization provides training in skilled trades customer service sales technology and general occupational readiness. A new program in 2024 provides disadvantaged and racialized women across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) with employability and workplace readiness skills to help them effectively enter the construction skilled trades.
