The Canadian Council on Ecological Areas - Le Conseil Canadien Des Aires Écologiques

The canadian council on ecological areas (ccea) is a national leader in providing evidence-based guidance in the establishment and management of a comprehensive network of ecological areas to contribute to the conservation and restoration of biodiversity and the social and ecological benefits it provides. Our goals are to: (1) support the identification establishment integration and reporting of ecological areas in canada; (2) support the effective and equitable management and monitoring of ecological areas in canada; (3) promote the understanding of the importance of ecological areas in connecting canadians to nature; and (4) collaborate with partners to advance ecological area networks.
