The Brampton Public Library Board

The brampton library enriches the lives of brampton residents by promoting literacy and providing free access to information. In addition to our traditional library services and programs the library offers free access to high-speed internet ebooks and other digital resources laptops our library of things and makerspace technology such as 3d printers. Our staff educate inform inspire and entertain through a wide variety of programming and services that fosters connection with the community. Programs are tailored to meet the needs of our seniors children teens and diverse community groups. The library continues to expand its library of things providing free access to a variety of equipment tools technologies and experiential resources that promote learning create opportunities and facilitate community interaction. New offerings include ontario parks toronto region conservation authority (trca) and credit valley conservation (cvc) passes which provide free access to self-directed outdoor activities to promote healthy active living. The library also provides stem at home packs designed to help young learners from pre-kindergarten to grade 12 explore stem (science technology engineering and math) through play-based learning.
