The Belfry Theatre Society

The Belfry offers a mainstage season of theatrical productions and presentations. We also present a new works festival which showcases theatre from across Canada including local artists. We develop new work through commissions dramaturgical consultations and writing workshops. Our outreach programs include Belfry 101 an intensive workshop for high school students regular conversations at the University of Victoria introducing theatre students to the professional world B4play an in-depth examination of themes and concepts within each production and post-show audience talkbacks. We offer affordable subsidized or free access to our space for writers creators and community events. All tickets and subscriptions are Pay What You Want ensuring complete financial accessibility.
