The Barkerville Heritage Trust

To research and conserve manage and promote barkerville historic town a living history museum. To teach the history of the town to students of all ages and the general public by mounting exhibitions conducting classes seminars guided tours & other interpretive & educational activities. To cooperate with other heritage cultural comunity business and tourism organizations to promote economic prosperity heritage conservation & community identity. To develop the barkerville conservation and learning institute (bcli) to foster academic relationships and promote barkerville as a post-secondary learning resource.
