To advance pharmacy education and research in canada by: ( 1 ) developing implementing and evaluating educational outcomes for first professional degrees in canada pharmacy faculties; (2) afpc awards program to support research and scholarship and to foster career paths towards academia/research; (3) annual pharmacy education and research conference (cperc) to support innovation and excellence in education; ( 4) developing educational resources and guidelines relating to academic pharmacy in canada; (5) providing support for numerous committees and networks to enhance faculty members' sharing and collaboration to advance pharmacy education and scholarly research; (6) online 20-moduel educational program for pharmacy and other health care students on health informatics e-prescribing and patient care (open source); (7) annual pharmacy student graduating survey (to support assessment of educational programs); (8) development and implementation of an academic electronic health record (aehr) product and interprofessional clinical cases to provide healthcare students with real world training in online clinical documentation and e-communications; (9) initiatives to address equity diversion inclusion and anti-racism in pharmacy education; (10) online resources on opioids and opioid use disorders.
