Regular services of worship and observance of religious events take place in person and online. Blessings in a Backpack of weekend food for needy elementary aged school children served 9 to 12 kids in 2024. The Blessing Box is a outdoor box at the sidewalk edge of our property easily accessible and community members are welcome to help themselves to what they need. It is stocked regularly with dry goods such as spaghetti noodles cereal tea rice oatmeal Kraft Dinner instant noodle etc. all in accordance with Northwest Health Unit food safety guidelines. We fill a small clothesline with seasonal accessories such as hats mitts and socks in the winter and ball caps in the summer. We are always decorating our yard with seasonal appropriate embellishments to brighten this busy corner of the community.
