The AI Safety Foundation

The purposes of the charity are: a) to advance education by providing lectures workshops classes seminars training programs and educational aids on subjects relating to science computer science and artificial intelligence to the public; b) to advance education by conducting research on topics relating to science computer science and artificial intelligence and publicly disseminating the results of such research; c) to advance education by providing publicly available scholarships bursaries and other forms of financial assistance to youth in post-secondary institutions with interest in science computer science and artificial intelligence; d) to receive and maintain a fund or funds and to apply all or part of the principal and income therefrom from time to time to qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1(1) of the income tax act (canada).
