The 411 Foundation

The purpose of the foundation is to act as a public charitable foundation and to serve the citizens of greater vancouver by gifting funds to 411 seniors centre society (1977) and other qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1(1) of the income tax act; providing social and recreational programs and services to assist older persons in greater vancouver; co-operating with governments and other registered charities in furtherance of these purposes; soliciting collecting receiving acquiring holding such property equipment and materials as are deemed necessary to accomplish the foundation s purposes; purchasing leasing selling or holding such property equipment and materials as are deemed necessary to accomplish the foundation s purposes; and doing all such other things as may be incidental and acillary to the attainment of these purposes.
