Thames Valley Education Foundation

The thames valley education foundation exists to build partnerships with the community that enhance opportunities in our schools and enrich public education. Our mission is to provide enhanced learning opportunities for the thames valley district school board students by fostering support from all sectors of society. This includes the provision of scholarships awards and bursaries to students. Programs also include the learning enhancement fund and the caring fund. The learning enhancement fund exists to provide our schools with the opportunity to apply for funding of their own unique priorities. The fund was established as a vehicle to initiate and support innovative programs/projects that enhance the experiences and opportunities of specific learners/school community. It supports the enhancement of school programs/projects or initiatives that fall within one or more of the funding priorities of the thames valley education foundation and are not funded by the ontario ministry of education. The caring fund exists to respond to emergency requests by school principals on behalf of students in immediate need or who are facing issues related to poverty.
