A) provides grants to hospitals and first reponders for respiratory equipment in the treatment of respiratory illness in patients of all ages. B) providing diagnostic equipment for respiratory systems to communities across british columbia which aids in the treatment and care of patients suffering from breathing diseases and other respiratory conditions. C) supporting tuberculosis research at the university of british columbia and vancouver general hospital. D) supporting respiratory research for the betterment of patient's health during and after ventilation. E) granting education bursaries awards to students in financial need who are enrolled in a recognized respiratory therapy program. Ten bursaries of $2 000 each will be given to students this year. F) providing initatives to educate children on improving physical literacy. The 'get up and breathe' project offers complimentary classes to all ages taught by personal trainers to educate about overall fitness including respiratory and cardiovascular health.
