The Diocese of New Westminster provides oversight and administrative support ministry development and support to 66 active Parishes across the South West part of the province of BC from the sunshine coast to the west to Hope BC and 3 worshiping communities on the ancestral lands of the coast Salish first nations. Our ministries include : compassionate service-locally regionally nationally and internationally; indigenous ministry and reconcilliation; Christian formation and education; community development and learning; parish development school; aid to parishes and clergy; children and youth programs planned giving and stewardship anti-racism consultation; archives; clergy counselling; street outreach companion diocese; and refugee resettlement
