Restoration and preservation of the lighthouse and keeper’s buildings at Swallowtail Light Station and Long Eddy Point Lighthouse on Grand Manan Island NB. Developing replicas of structures once important to the sites. Developing interpretation/education programs for historical cultural and ecological aspects related to lighthouse keepers and surrounding environs particularly marine of the Grand Manan area including a 'Working Lighthouse Museum' which incorporates information for and artifacts from all lighthouses in the Grand Manan area. Celebrating lightkeeping traditions by developing a network of partners. Volunteers were critical to fund raising and contributed over 500 hours during the fiscal year. As part of the preservation of Swallowtail Light a project took place in 2023 to replace siding on the lighthouse tower as well as the keepers house. Areas of structural damage were identified and repaired.
