Sunshine Coast Jewish Burial Society

The burial society assists families with burial by helping to arrange the purchase of burial plots and with funeral arragements if requested maintains the society website and monitors inquiries about the cemetery. Communicates with the scrd on a regular basis about maintenance concern at the cemetery site. In 2024 the society surveyed the jewish community on the sunshine coast as the future burial needs in order to plan for the next ten years. As a result the board of the scjbs is working with the shunshine coast regional district to expand the number of plots at the cemetery.
