Students Against Drinking & Driving Association of Alberta

SADD Alberta provides educational resources to Alberta schools and community groups to help raise awareness and prevent alcohol and drug-impaired driving as well as distracted driving. Through bi-monthly mail-outs to all high schools in Alberta SADD provides posters and other material for schools to use in their efforts to help raise awareness among students. SADD also creates and maintains online content and resources for schools and students to access when needed (available at www.saddalberta.com). When possible SADD works to maintain various campaigns such as the annual Liquor Bag Campaign. SADD is currently working on an online course the effects of drugs and driving. SADD also focused on assisting schools with having a safe grad for students by proving schools with grad tent cards and wristbands as a reminder to students to plan a safe ride home. SADD also introduced Borrow the Busters. A program that allows schools to borrow our drunk buster goggles to help raise awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving.
