Streetohome Foundation

Streetohome Foundation is changing lives and building better futures by working with the private sector to broker and leverage new funding innovative ideas and opportunities for collaboration between public and non-profit sectors to implement sustainable solutions to homelessness in Vancouver. Since 2008 Streetohome has raised $35.2 M and with its partners BC Housing the City of Vancouver and Vancouver Coastal Health has funded 36 supportive housing and homelessness prevention projects. Over 10 500 individuals – including unaccompanied youth families couples single adults and seniors – have been supported in moving along their preferred life path and realizing their housing health legal education and employment goals. 100% of its fundraised donations go to support housing and homelessness prevention initiatives. Streetohome continues to explore new initiatives that fill gaps in and improve the navigation of the homelessness services system while addressing root causes of homelessness and demonstrating improved outcomes for individuals.
