Storytellers of Canada – Conteurs du Canada is devoted to connecting people reflecting culture and inspiring learning and creativity through the art of storytelling. Ongoing programs include: Professional Development Conference: Annual conference is held in different cities across Canada each year. Five days of masterclasses workshops concerts day-trips and networking. StorySave: Saving the voices of the elders one story at a time. Started in 2002 StorySave is a project of Storytellers of Canada-Conteurs du Canada that records the voices of tellers from the Canadian storytelling community. Each year a new teller is chosen from nominees across Canada who’ve developed a marked personal style in the craft of storytelling or who have a remarkable body of work that should be kept alive. SC-Radio-CC: Internet based 24-7 worldwide broadcast of StorySave albums/tracks podcasts member-produced radio shows.
