We work to relieve poverty by providing basic amenities and essential needs for persons of low income. We operate an overnight emergency homeless shelter. We also operate a drop in center which act s as a cooling/warming shelter for the street involved. At our drop in centre we also hand ut grocery hampers free clothing and household goods to people living in poverty or are homeless. Volunteers meet with low income households and homeless people to help them secure affordable housing and connect them with other available resources and transition them off the streets if they are homeless. We help guests who have experienced trauma to access counselling services. We run a cvitp. We maintain an orchard to provide a sustainable source of free food for people in poverty.
