Stamford Lane United Church

In 2024 we continued holding worship services weekly and conducting bible study also weekly. We officiate at weddings baptisms and funerals. We provide religious education and musical instruction. We offer pastoral care to the sick grieving and shut-in members of our community. We provided some luncheons for seniors. We fund Christmas baskets for the needy in our community of Niagara Falls. We visit in hospitals nursing homes and seniors' residences. As permitted we present worship services and musical entertainment at seniors' residences. We collect and deliver food donations and provide funds and volunteer staff for N. F. Community Outreach and Project Share. We contribute directly to seven other charities both local and afar. New for 2024 we provided start-up funding for a Breakfast program at a local elementary school in the spring. There was sufficient other sponsorship that the program continued in the fall and this winter without our assistance. We also provided funds to Birchway Niagara (a women's shelter) to allow them to purchase needed supplies for their residents and their children. Most of the funds for these ventures came from our Bargain Boutique.
