About St Paul's Presbyterian Church
St. Paul's held weekly church services offered pastoral care to those in need in the community and financially supported church sponsored charities through the presbyterian church in canada as well as local charities supporting those in need. Our facilities were used by community groups including the a.i. Community medical clinic which offered health info sessions monthly clinics vaccination clinics and various exercise classes. A once weekly lunch program offered lunch and fellowship to community members. The 'lending library' and scrabble afternoons continued. St. Paul's provided space and workers for a pancake breakfast which was part of the first amherst island winterfest. We participated in a community information session held in the local school and the loyalist township open doors day which provided an opportunity for visitors to tour the church and learn some of its history. This all supports our goal of community outreach working with and in the community.
