2 weekly worship eucharists; historical building & site; church open daily weekdays; tour guides available during summer/fall season; community events (jazzfest concerts christmas on the grand parade choirs for change etc.); oldest longest-running sunday school in canada; youth ministry; pastoral care; regular off-site bible studies; weddings funerals major emphasis on outreach & mission; refugee family support; provision of meals and groceries weekly to needy through rdf program; outreach counseling; donations to other parishes for their outreach when needed; regular donations to other registered charities. St. Paul's commemorated its 275th year in existence capping it off on june 8th 2025. The parish welcomed all races creeds colours sexes to join in worship services weekly as well as any special events upcoming as we carefully move through the process of reconciliation building new relationships with the communities around us. Ongoing programs continued. A '275th publication' was completed successfully. The first of our historical information panels in the nave was reworded with greater focus placed on respecting the local first nations community;. The reactivation of the 'st. Pual's historical society' is in place/ongoing. The prep work for an inside columbarium has begun. As st. Paul's is an integral part of the history of 'halifax' we again anticipate thousands of tourists/visitors/seekers this season and our doors are already open to greet each one via our interpretive guide (thank you to young canada works for their grant to assist with this summer staff expense).
