St. John's Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church of Hamilton

1. Sunday school every sunday we joyfully conduct sunday school classes designed to nurture young hearts in the knowledge of christ. These sessions offer age-appropriate bible lessons engaging worship crafts and activities that help children grow in faith character and community. 2. Outreach to retirement homes and rehabilitation facilities in keeping with our calling to care for the elderly and the infirm our church has continued its regular visits to local retirement homes and rehabilitation centers. 3. Weekly prayer meetings for youth and adults every week on wednesdays we gather for intercessory prayer and spiritual renewal in our prayer meetings held separately for youth and adults. These gatherings have become a powerful source of strength unity and spiritual growth. 4. Weekly worship services our sunday worship services continue to be the heart of our weekly rhythm where the congregation comes together to honor god through praise worship and the teaching of his word.. In 2024 our church joyfully launched a new outreach program: support to international students recognizing the unique challenges faced by students who have come to pursue education in our local colleges and universities.
