St Giles Presbyterian Church

St giles holds regular public worship services as well as special services i.e. Christmas and easter. We also conduct baptisms weddings and funerals. Live streaming services accessible by either video or teleconference call. Christian education is provided as well as pastoral care. We have an active sunday school program with three teachers and 7 children. The work of the presbyterian church in canada and overseas is supported. We provide weekly meeting space for six large aa groups with up to 200 participants as well as other community gatherings.we have provided funds to local food banks including hosting events where free will donations were made. Our outreach activities have welcomed two other congregations that use our hall and sanctuary. We continue to support gracefield camp the centretown community food centre and centretown churches social action committee ccsac. This year we held during the spring period a ten week alpha program which welcomed outside persons to explore questions about christianity. We have also welcomed three new families from the cameroons with their children. There remains interest from other church groups in using our facilities and we have started discussions with a christian church with 70 burmese members
