St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation

Our healthcare public foundation is involved in raising funds for 3 healthcare charities (qualified donees) located here in barry's bay ontario - 1) the st. Francis memorial hospital 2) the madawaska hospice palliative care and 3) the valley manor inc. We have 65+ volunteers contributing upwards of 2 000 hours in total each year assisting us in our fundraising goals. Accordingly we have several programs that further our charity's purpose as follows: 1) in memorial giving - donations given in honour of loved ones. 2) in memory mural - supporters purchase elements on our mural to honour loved ones. 3) tree of lights - christmas campaign 4) chairty golf tournament 5) online auction 6) st. Francis circle giving club - members join a monthly/annual giving club. 7) guardian angel program - grateful patients recognize appreciation of a caregiver 8) rockathon 9) butterfly release event - in support of hospice/palliative care services in the community 10) hospital emergency room re-development campaign 11) catch the ace lottery - to support the equipment needs of the hospital 12) third party event support 13) planned giving.
