Members group activities include group singing meditations discussions organizing and participation in annual walk for human values such as 'truth right conduct peace love & non violence'; working with other local charities in feeding poor (once a month preparing sandwiches and delivering them to 'sister of atonement' for feeding homeless; buying and distributing care packages containing warm clothing & canned food for homeless;collecting food for food bank;(40%); maintaining books and video library for members; conducting youth and children's programmes for character building and value of law abiding (40%); health; and illness (20%). Sri sathya sai baba center of bc activities during financial year 4/1/23 to 3/31/24 1. Prepared hot meal twice a month and delivered it to food bank to be given to needy 2. Prepared 400 packets of peanut butter and jam sandwich monthly and delivered to food bank surrey to be given to homeless. 3. Bought and donated warm clothings such as socks and tuks to homeless in vancouver. 4. Celebrated multifaith festivals of christmas new year for christians … for muslims gurunanak’s birthday for sikhs’ deepewali … for hindus regular bhajans twice a week baaivikes for children once a week and sri saihya sal birthday on november 23rd. 5. Carried out in north vancouver walk for human values of truth righteousness peace love and non violence.
