About Southern Alberta Individualized Planning Association
Current programs include self advocacy workshops aimed at inspiring individuals with developmental disabilities to drive change in their communities as engaged and empowered citizens providing support and hosting the south region self advocacy network releasing the ripple every two months to help keep individuals with disabilities informed and releasing our regular resource of the month to highlight our public resource library available to the public. We continue to use our hybrid model to deliver our workshops and meetings. Online and in person which has allowed attendance to all programs to remain higher compared to pre-covid numbers. Participants can participate and collaborate with others both online and in person. We are working on expanding our website as well as our resource library to increase the accessibility of the resources by offering both print and online or virtual resources.
