About Southern Africa Embrace Foundation
Education : 347 students at Samathonga Primary School in Bulawayo Zimbabwe were supported for school fees stationery supplies school uniforms school shoes and before and after school feeding program 3times a week . The school fees payments and delivery of donations were done by the organization's 7 volunteers based in Bulawayo during the 3 school terms. Payment of school fees was paid directly into the school bank's account for the school year of January to December 2024. Volunteers also visited the school each new term to meet with the principal and students to review needs and progress. Term and year end students progress reports were submitted to the organization. Volunteers contributed 32 hours in the 2024 year. Rural Development: 12 volunteers in Malawi contributed 20 hours per month on monitoring and evaluation of the farming program for women and youth. The donated funds were sent directly to the on ground partner-GGEM Farming who is responsible for the day to day administration of the program along with our volunteers. The farming program involves 536 women farmers who grow rice beans and vegetables The program also supports women's skills training on farming digital tools use climate change training. Program reports are provided every 3 months for evaluation and review of progress. Health & Food Nutrition: The organization supported 722 at risk youth and women in Bulawayo ZW and Johannesburg RSA who are affected by HIV/AIDS and or living with a disability. Donations were of basic necessities which included bulk Non Perishable Food items Sanitary Pads cleaning supplies clothing HIV TEST kits and payments for awareness workshops training and counseling services. 7 Volunteers in each city representing our organization delivered the donations as per need.
