South Simcoe Railway Heritage Foundation

The objects of the foundation are : (a) to provide for the creation promotion and development of educational centres inter-active heritage railway sites adn museums for the education of the general public; (b) to provide assistance for the maintenance storage retro-fit refurbishing installation development and creation of railway museums for the preservation of heritage railway rolling stock and equipment to conduct research relating to heritage railways and conduct seminars conferences courses and meetings on matters pertaining to heritage railways for the education of the general public; and (c) to provide assistance and coordinate the establishment of permanent facilities for heritage railway buildings structures stations tracks and infra-structure for the education and benefit of the general public; and (d) to receive and maintain a fund or funds and to apply all or part of the principal and income therefore from time to time for charitable purposes and in particular for the charitabl purposes enunciated in paragraphs (a) (b) (c) above.
