To provide and maintain a volunteer fire department for south galiano. To appoint a chief. Manage ratepayer funds for the operation of the fire department. Purchase equipment and supplies with grant provided by the cra for purposes of fighting interface fires. Sell fire blankets for home and kitchen safety. Renovate previous fire hall for community use and food bank rental. Sell driveway address signs.
