Soup Production Revenue: Soup Sisters Soup Bank produces soup large scale at a food safe commercial production facility. It is then distributed at cost or donated to shelters and agencies. Soup-making events: The events are designed for small groups of 12-30 people to make a pot of fresh soup with a chef at a certified kitchen and it is then donated the next day to an emergency shelter or social agency. Reduction in Management Compensation: The CEO and Founder declined a salary since May 2023 to enable the organization to re-establish its soup-making events post the COVID-19 pandemic. This also allows for the organization to use the funds on production costs and better position the new hybrid social enterprise business model including the soup bank and commercial production for the soup bank.
