Soroptimist Foundation of CanadaRegistered

The purpose of the foundation is to advance the human rights and status of women and girls and to provide women and girls with access to education and resources to enable them to pursue and achieve economic and social equality. Donations come primarily from individual members of the canadian soroptimist clubs and the canadian soroptimist clubs themselves. The canadian soroptimist clubs are part of soroptimist international of the americas (s.i.a.) which is a regional federation of clubs in north america latin america and the pacific rim. The soroptimist organization has five world-wide federations all linked together under the umbrella of soroptimist international.
