Sombrilla International Development Society

Sombrilla partners with communities in latin america to empower them to assert their democratic economic cultural and social rights. We strive to improve quality of life by addressing needs such as food security clean water health care and education so that communities may become self-sustaining. Ongoing projects include supporting post-secondary education in el salvador and pre-school education in peru. Computer assisted learning program (cal) program: this program is delivered in honduras and provides education to youth and adults who have not been able to or are currently not able to access grade 6 7 and 8 education through the public education system.
