Solitudes provides nursing care and rehabilitation to injured and orphaned birds and mammals in ontario. Solitudes holds the following federal and provincial permits: federal: environmental and climate change canada - aviculture permit to permanently house migratory bird species in captivity. - scientific rehab permit to rehabilitate native migratory bird species. Provincial: ministry of natural resources and forestry - license to keep specially protected species in captivity. - wildlife custodian authorization permit to rehabilitate provincially protected birds and mammals. Solitudes provides veterinary care and rehabilitation for injured moose. Solitudes is licensed by the ministry of natural resources.
